B-Space

Preface: This idea is supplied to be used by creatives working in Literature, Gaming and Film (or any other creative that might be inspired by it). This work is NOT to be used in any form of AI generation, whether as a training tool or a prompt, or any other means of AI generation. This is my personal stipulation and can be read as an OPT-OUT from any use by AI.

The theory of multi-dimensional space was well known, but had little proof until b-space was discovered. B-Space is a dimension that seems to push closely on our own dimension (a-space), or rather our dimension pushes onto it because events in our reality seem to change b-space topography.

Most of b-space that has been explored seems to be an inverse to areas in a-space. The current theory is that any building or destruction work in our dimension that happens in areas that are especially close to b-space mirror out into it. However, the relationship isn’t contiguous, space is different there so areas that are on the opposite side of the world here could be next door or even connected in b-space.

It is unknown if there are any dangers in b-space. Certainly some teams have failed to return, but as the majority of explorers have found no other life it’s believed these disappearances are more due to unforeseen environmental issues.

So far xx ‘interface points’ have been discovered, areas where entering b-space is possible. There are 9 in Europe, including 4 in the UK, 12 in the Americas, 14 in Asia and 3 in Africa. Although this is certainly not the extent of them and more are likely to be discovered.

Due to these interface points and the strange way space is connected in b-space there are several known short-cuts between continents, although these are heavily guarded by the affected countries security forces and this has been the main driver for increased funding.
